CE China 2020: Converging Market Insights at CE Summit

CE China will co-host CE Summit 2020 organized by IDG Asia to cover the latest market insights and industry trends this year.

CE China – a global IFA event – adjusts its concept for the year 2020 and co-hosts the International Consumer Electronics (CE) Summit 2020 by IDG Asia, a long-time partner and co-organizer of CE China. The event will take place from 24 – 25 September 2020 in Guangzhou. The ceremony of the IFA Product Technical Innovation Award will also take place at the same time in Guangzhou. The traditional international Consumer Electronic and Home Appliance brand show will resume in 2021.

Jens Heithecker, IFA Executive Director and CE China Chairman, said: “We are glad that our CE China exhibitors and partners of the IFA Retail University can utilize the stage of CE Summit to connect with the thriving Chinese market. We are also happy that CE China is able to change this year’s edition and take into account the current global health concerns, travel restrictions and disrupted supply chains. We believe changing the CE China 2020 edition is the right decision for all parties involved in and outside China.”

Mr. Gao Yuyue, Deputy Secretary General of Guangzhou Municipal Government, said: “Guangzhou has very unique location advantages and a superior business environment. Its unlimited potential for the development of the CE industry does not only provide a better platform for CE China and CE Summit, but also brings more cooperation opportunities for participants from all sides. I’m looking forward to the sparkling insights exchange at CE Summit 2020. And based on the successful cooperation between the Guangzhou Government and Berlin Exhibition Guangzhou Co., Ltd. in the past, I’m confident that CE China will even increase its high-standard international brand show in 2021.”

CE China 2021 will take place in September at PWTC Expo in Guangzhou. The German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy has already confirmed its support for the official German Pavilion. The registration for the 2021 edition will be open soon. We very much look forward to seeing you again at CE Summit 2020 as well as CE China 2021 in Guangzhou.
