Rackspace Technology Acquires Bright Skies, a Leading Cloud Transformation Provider Based in Germany

Rackspace Technology™ (NASDAQ: RXT), a leading end-to-end multicloud technology solutions company, today announced that it has acquired Bright Skies, a leading cloud transformation provider in Germany that specializes in data center modernization, cloud transformation, modern workforce, and data and artificial intelligence. Bright Skies’ cloud-native professional services capabilities complement Rackspace Technology’s existing strengths in the German market and will add nearly 500 customers, including Dole, HSV and DOMCURA, to the Rackspace Technology portfolio. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Founded in 2014, Bright Skies has more than 55 employees and is headquartered in Hamburg, Germany with offices in Cologne, Dresden and Mannheim and offers strategic advisory, architecture and engineering services. The acquisition will more than double Rackspace Technology’s multicloud professional services headcount in Germany. Bright Skies is also a gold-certified Microsoft Partner with 14 Microsoft competencies (12 Gold) across Data Platform and Analytics, DevOps, Application Development, Cloud Platform, Data Centre, Small and Mid-Market Cloud Solutions and Security. These competencies add to Rackspace Technology’s multicloud technical expertise and commitment to customer success, with over 2,500 cloud-certificatied professionals globally.
