orcharhino 7.2 released

One focus of orcharhino 7.2 is the support for Puppet Core (Perforce) and OpenVox (Community-Fork) as external configuration management servers. In both cases, orcharhino can be used as an external Node Classifier (ENC), receives system reports and manages the certificate and key processes of the respective Certificate Authorities.

Extended support for Puppet Core and OpenVoxorcharhino 7.2 enables the seamless integration of Puppet Core and OpenVox for the first time. Both versions offer companies more flexibility when choosing their configuration management solution:
These extensions allow users to decide whether they want to rely on a commercially driven or a community-driven Puppet variant – while retaining their familiar centralized administration and overview within orcharhino. The support of both variants promotes greater investment security and simplifies the operation of heterogeneous environments.
Further new features in orcharhino 7.2:
Compliance Remediation Wizard
A new wizard simplifies the remediation of OpenSCAP compliance violations. Remediations can be applied directly via a guided process and optionally rolled out to additional hosts.
Simplified installation of subscription-manager on Debian and Ubuntu
On Debian and Ubuntu systems, it is now possible to install the subscription manager independently of the standard repositories, which makes it easier to register existing hosts with orcharhino.
sos report: Automated collection of debug information
With sos report, configuration details, system data and logs can be collected automatically. The reports can optionally be encrypted and sent directly to ATIX Support.
Support for CentOS Stream 10
orcharhino 7.2 enables the provisioning and registration of hosts running under CentOS Stream 10.
Extension of the installer GUI: Hammer CLI installation
Via a new option in the orcharhino installer, the Hammer CLI including all selected plugins can now be installed automatically.
Pushing container images to orcharhino
Self-built container images can now be transferred directly to the orcharhino server via podman push without having to use an external registry.
