The Opel Frontera is ready for daily adventures. The SUV, which is electrified in every variant, is the ideal companion for families, because the Frontera not only impresses with its rugged design, many clever solutions and an excellent price-performance ratio – it also offers space for up to seven people. This makes it the ideal shuttle vehicle for the team, friends or family. If parents and up to five children want to go on tour, they can simply choose the extensively equipped Frontera Hybrid GS at an attractive entry-level price of €27,690; the seven-seater package is available for an additional surcharge of only €800. And as a five-seater, prices for the Frontera start at €24,190 (all prices RRP incl. VAT in Germany).

Space aplenty: For up to five or seven people, up to 1,600 litres of cargo volume

With a vehicle length of 4,385 millimetres, a width of 1,849 millimetres (with folded exterior mirrors) and a height of 1,635 millimetres, every Opel Frontera offers one thing above all: plenty of flexible space. The affordable SUV is therefore suitable as a versatile mobile companion – whether with five or seven seats. In the variant for five occupants, the Frontera offers 460 litres of cargo volume with the rear seats raised and particularly spacious travel comfort, especially in the second row. If the rear seats in the second row, which can be flexibly divided in a 60:40 ratio, are folded down, the capacity increases to around 1,600 litres.

Those wanting to take a little less luggage on board, but more people can choose the seven-seater package. For example, the children can ride on the two additional seats in the third row. In the same way, drivers and passengers can also travel in groups of six, because the seats in row three can be folded down individually. In this way, suitcases, bags or other travel utensils still fit in the boot. Alternatively, all rear seats can be folded down to create a large, flat loading area.

Well thought-out: Clever solutions further increase comfort and practical benefit

Regardless of the number of passengers, the body and design of the Frontera offer the best conditions for a comfortable journey. The long wheelbase of 2,670 millimetres makes it easier to get into the third row, as do the seats in the middle row that can be folded forward; the upright sides and rear window also give passengers in the rear more space in the shoulder and head area.

Furthermore, numerous comfort details make the ride in the seven-seater configuration of the Frontera GS even more pleasant. For example, the driver and front passenger can enjoy the patented Intelli-Seats as standard. With a special recess in the middle of the seat, they reduce pressure on the tailbone and contribute to relaxed driving comfort. The multimedia infotainment system with a 10-inch colour touchscreen and driver information display ensures the best entertainment and connectivity. And when personal mobile devices need replenishing there are multiple options: The wireless charger in the centre console is included in this configuration, as are a total of five USB-C ports: two in the front, two more in the second row and an additional one in row three.

All Frontera passengers can keep cool on hot summer days thanks to the automatic climate control system which also comes as standard in the GS trim. Safety and visibility in the dark are increased by the LED headlights, indicators and taillights; and manoeuvring with the best view to the rear is made easier by the 130-degree rear view camera. Equipped in this way, the Opel Frontera offers affordable driving pleasure for up to seven people.
