The customers of the Baden-Württemberg-based ELEMENT ONE Multimedia GmbH are demonstrating their trust in the innovative power of unique media technology "Made in Germany" with the receipt of the first orders even before the official release of the new retractable monitor CONVERS ALPHA in August 2025. Its announcement and the first technical information had already been enough to arouse interest in a new product from ELEMENT ONE. Like numerous predecessors, CONVERSE ALPHA promises to set standards and combine state-of-the-art technology with workmanship and trend-setting design in a unique way.

CONVERS ALPHA – Smallest dimensions, biggest impact

What at first glance may seem like just another model in the renowned selection of integrable, extendable premium monitors is, on closer inspection, further proof of the insatiable urge of the internationally sought-after brand ELEMENT ONE and its creators to put proven top performance to the test again and again, to integrate requirements and customer wishes and, above all, to always remain wide awake and curious when it comes to design issues.  so that the next product generation surpasses its predecessors once again.

CONVERS ALPHA takes the decisive step forward through compactness, which is literally second to none. The fully integrated, retractable 12.5" touch monitor with an angle of inclination of 30° impresses above all with a case thickness of just 8 mm and thus with a total space requirement that allows it to be used even under the most demanding conditions.

"In our global projects in parliaments and international organizations, for example, we observe that the need for efficient solutions in media technology is growing massively with their growing number of members," explains Thorsten Nees, Managing Director of ELEMENT ONE Multimedia GmbH. "In this case, efficiency means both proof of quality through energy efficiency and the specific space requirements of the entire hardware."

With its compact housing dimensions of 400 x 446 mm only and a total weight of just 7 kg, which is even four kilograms less than the successful CONVERS BLADE retractable 4K or FullHD touch monitor, CONVERS ALPHA offers both the desired efficiency in terms of space requirements and, with an energy requirement of 15 watts, in power consumption and thus in heat generation.

The customer as the benchmark, innovation as an incentive

For the user, CONVERS ALPHA, as with all ELEMENT ONE products, once again focuses on design and usability. The brilliant FullHD display in the stylish 8 mm monitor housing made of anodised aluminium predestines the new CONVERS ALPHA for prestigious applications, in combination with sophisticated room concepts by creative architects and interior designers.

In addition to the high-end monitor technology, with interfaces to common transmission technology, CONVERS ALPHA also meets the highest demands on integration. Installed almost invisibly, the seamlessly retractable monitor works with two whisper-quiet 12 volt stepper motors, which support the overall concept of a high-end product in terms of functionality, safety and reliability. The technology for the CONVERS ALPHA and the specific requirements of the uniquely compact design, which has been tried and tested in other ELEMENT ONE models, has been revised and improved once again, so that smoothly reliable motor operation is guaranteed even under the demanding conditions of assembly of the space-saving built-in housing.
