In terms of chart analysis, the gold price had been moving in an ascending triangle formation. The resistance was finally broken. The weak US dollar was certainly a contributing factor. The US$4,000 mark for the gold price could now be significantly closer. Economic and monetary policy uncertainties are making gold more attractive, especially in the form of physically backed ETFs. And there are many uncertainties that are leading investors to gold. Just think of demographic change, which is becoming increasingly apparent. Provision for the future is necessary but is becoming increasingly difficult. The demographic trend in India is different, with the average age there below 30. Long-term growth forecasts there are also estimated to be well above five percent. In China, too, economic growth is higher than the global average. So, there is still a lot of potential for demand for gold and silver.
Investors should familiarize themselves with the advantages of gold investments. Gold scores highly in terms of liquidity, and central banks love it, especially since 2022, when many have been buying gold to become less dependent on the US dollar. And the example of Russia has shown that sanctions can be imposed on foreign exchange reserves and that gold reserves are superior in this regard. Gold is and remains a precious commodity. Even if, as NASA confirms, there are more than 20 million tons of gold in the sea, extraction is hardly possible for cost and technological reasons. What counts is the economic viability of gold mining. The fact that the precious metal has served as a reliable store of value for thousands of years is simply a fact. Investing in mining companies that own gold and silver is another way to bet on these precious metals.
Vizsla Silver – https://www.commodity-tv.com/ondemand/companies/profil/vizsla-silver-corp/ – owns the formerly producing Panuco gold-silver project in Mexico. A preliminary feasibility study yielded very good results.
Sierra Madre Gold and Silver – https://www.commodity-tv.com/ondemand/companies/profil/sierra-madre-gold-silver-ltd/ – successfully started production at its Guitarra project (gold and silver) in Mexico at the beginning of the year. A second promising project in Mexico is part of the portfolio.
