RSNA 2025: Ziehm Imaging presents innovative mobile C-arm technologies for high-quality imaging from head to toe

At this year’s RSNA, Ziehm Imaging is exhibiting solutions for orthopedics as well as a complete mobile hybrid room for cardiovascular applications. Physicians are able to see the first endovascular navigation with image fusion technology integrated into a mobile C-arm: Endovascular Navigation1 Aorto-iliac will be demonstrated live at the booth. Visitors can also expect the latest member of Orthoscan’s mini C-arm product portfolio focusing on extremity imaging: Versa is a light-weight, portable imaging solution for seamless integration into any setting.

First endovascular navigation integrated into a mobile C-arm

Ziehm Imaging has introduced Endovascular Navigation Aorto-iliac with image fusion technology for the first time earlier this year. At RSNA, visitors can see for themselves how the solution – the first of its kind integrated into a mobile C-arm – combines imaging and vascular navigation on a single user interface. This design improves user-friendliness and saves space in the operating room. The technology, which will be showcased on Ziehm Vision RFD Hybrid Edition2, delivers greater confidence during hybrid procedures while helping to reduce radiation exposure and contrast media usage. Using artificial intelligence-based algorithms, Endovascular Navigation enables fast and easy image fusion. The software is designed for interventions in the aorto-iliac region and can e.g. be used for EVARs as well as for complex interventions such as FEVARs. “We are proud to showcase Endovascular Navigation Aorto-iliac at RSNA. At our booth, physicians can experience firsthand how the dedicated workflow on one single user interface provides greater ease of use,” says Martin Toernvik, Vice President Global Sales & Marketing.

Ziehm Vision RFD Hybrid Edition Cardio as a space-saving and cost-efficient alternative to fixed cath labs

Ziehm Vision RFD Hybrid Edition is also available with a dedicated cardiology option package to cover the broad range of cardiological applications. From general cardiac surgery to advanced electrophysiology and high-end mobile cath lab procedures such as mitral clippings, TAVIs and TMVRs, Ziehm Vision RFD Hybrid Edition Cardio is a space-saving and cost-efficient alternative to fixed cath labs. With its modular mobile Cath Lab setup, the system allows hospitals to select only the components they truly need – from imaging and table options through advanced monitoring to diverse monitor options.

Orthoscan Versa – designed for unparalleled mobility

Ziehm Imaging will also feature the newly introduced Orthoscan Versa, a fully portable imaging solution designed to integrate seamlessly into any clinical environment—whether placed on a desktop or mounted on an articulating monitor cart. The intuitive touchscreen monitor offers a tablet-like experience, removing the need for bulky components and helping streamline the clinical workspace. Versa delivers advanced imaging capabilities, including 180° orbital rotation for improved anatomical visualization, selectable pulse fluoroscopy technology, and pediatric imaging approval. With its exceptional portability, Versa enables smooth transitions between satellite clinics and off-site locations, enhancing operational efficiency and elevating patient care.

High-quality mobile imaging from head to toe

On the joint booth with its daughter companies Orthoscan and Therenva, Ziehm Imaging will be displaying further mobile imaging solutions. All Ziehm Imaging C-arms featured onsite are part of the premium portfolio CMOSline3 that is elevated with QuantumStream – a completely new imaging system. The premium portfolio comes with up to 30 kW generator power (according to IEC 60601-2-54), a 100 µm pixel size CMOS detector and the first-to-the-market true 2k2k imaging chain.

  • Ziehm Vision RFD 3D covers a wide range of applications, from high-end maxillofacial, orthopedics, traumatology and spinal surgery through bronchoscopy procedures to innovative vascular interventions.
  • With its all-in-one design, Ziehm Solo FD is one of the most compact C-arms on the market. This product line does not require a separate monitor cart, making it easy to maneuver even in the smallest treatment scenarios.
  • Orthoscan’s TAU family for extremity imaging completes the portfolio. The series is the first mini C-arm line designed and approved for pediatric use, with all TAU systems featuring Intelligent Dose Reduction technology to significantly reduce radiation exposure while maintaining exceptional image quality.
