European premiere of the TT7 series: Kalmar presents the next generation of its terminal tractors at LogiMAT 2026
Hall 10, Stand G21
In Hall 10, Stand G21, Kalmar is unveiling the new generation of its terminal tractors with a pulling force of 70 and 85 tonnes for the first time in Europe. The focus remains on electrification. The first electric reach stackers will be delivered to German customers from June 2026.
A special highlight at the Kalmar stand is the new TT7 series terminal tractor, which visitors can see for the first time in Germany. The seventh-generation tractors with a pulling force of 70 or 85 tonnes have been specially designed to meet the requirements of transhipment terminals and the stricter regulations in Europe. The series will be further developed in 2026 – details can be found at the 124-square-metre exhibition stand in Hall 10. "We are convinced that our development engineers have come up with something here that meets the diverse needs of terminal operators and logistics service providers alike. At the customer’s request, the machines can be approved for road use; we have put together a package for this purpose,‘ reveals Harald Kraft, Managing Director of Kalmar Germany.
The trade fair team led by the managing director is looking forward to engaging in dialogue with interested parties. The motto of the stand is electrification – ’a topic that continues to preoccupy us," says Harald Kraft. The electric version of the reach stacker is now also coming onto the German market. It is already in use by customers in the Nordic countries. Harald Kraft: ‘Anyone interested in seeing one should talk to us at LogiMAT and we will arrange a viewing appointment with one of our first German customers in the west of the country.’
A total of 25 colleagues from sales, service and product development will be available to talk to visitors about battery options, ROI and the cost-effectiveness of the electric versions. Kalmar sees itself as a pioneer in the industry in terms of electromobility, and visitors to the trade fair can see how the potential savings can be calculated using a CO2 calculator. All models of the machines specially developed by Kalmar for container handling will continue to be offered as diesel variants, and the trade fair team will be happy to explain which type of machine is best suited to the desired applications.
"LogiMAT is one of the most important international trade fairs for us. That’s why colleagues from Austria, Finland, Sweden, Poland and the USA are also attending in Stuttgart. In addition to details and features of the new terminal tractor, they can also provide information about the advantages of the new generation of batteries that are now being installed," says Kirsten Früchting, Marketing Manager at Kalmar Germany.
