ECR 2026: Ziehm Imaging showcases new OR table steering and latest endovascular software solution
Navigate with ease and optimal overview
Endovascular Navigation Peripheral allows for panorama creation for peripheral artery disease cases by stitching fluoroscopic and angiographic images into a complete, up-to-date overview. Thrombotic and stenotic areas can be easily identified and marked. “Live fluoroscopic images align precisely with the angiographic panorama through image fusion—allowing clinicians to navigate with ease and optimal orientation without additional contrast media,” says Martin Törnvik, Vice President Global Sales & Marketing. Artificial intelligence-based algorithms automatically match and display image fusion – adapting in real time to patient, table, or C-arm movement. The solution is fully integrated into Ziehm Vision RFD Hybrid Edition3 (Cardio) and Ziehm Vision RFD 3D.
Closing the gap to fixed installed systems with PositionPilot
Motorized OR tables are standard in fixed installations – Ziehm Imaging transfers this logic into the mobile world. The innovative PositionPilot allows for straightforward handling of the mobile C-arm and OR table via the intuitive Position Control Center plus. With PositionPilot, the surgeon has everything at hand and can operate both devices easily from the sterile field. It enables fast, reproducible, and reliable intraoperative positioning. Two joysticks allow for easy control of all four axes of the C-arm, while table height as well as horizontal and vertical sliding are controlled with a separate joystick. For smoother workflows, PositionPilot facilitates the recall of anatomical positions: Up to three synchronized C-arm and OR table positions plus one additional table position can be recalled at any time during the procedure.
Exceptional clarity at minimum dose with Ziehm Vision RFD 3D
With several major innovations, Ziehm Imaging further strengthens intraoperative 3D imaging and dose management with Ziehm Vision RFD 3D. The new Adult HQ dose mode complements the existing Low Dose, Adult, and Obese Patient settings, providing the high penetration and resolution needed for demanding cases such as cervical–thoracic junction imaging, complex tumors, and hip or lumbar procedures. The new 25 cm volume3,4 significantly expands anatomical coverage, enabling visualization e. g. of the entire pelvis. A dedicated anatomical program for bronchoscopy now supports optimal 2D and 3D visualization of fine lung structures and updated settings enhance cochlear implant imaging. In addition, the new surface rendering option delivers detailed 3D views for implant and position control, particularly valuable in maxillofacial surgery.
High-quality mobile imaging from head to toe
On the joint booth with its daughter companies Orthoscan and Therenva, Ziehm Imaging will be displaying further mobile imaging solutions. All Ziehm Imaging C-arms featured onsite are part of the premium portfolio CMOSline5 that is elevated with QuantumStream, the first-to-the-market true 2k2k imaging chain. The premium portfolio comes with up to 30 kW generator power (according to IEC 60601-2-54) and a 100 µm pixel size CMOS detector.
