With its most recent innovations, innovaphone is redefining the next generation of unified communications: UC becomes UCC. The myApps platform is evolving into a central hub for company-wide communication and collaboration.  Users benefit from seamless workflows: Within the Connect App, the core of the UCC platform and social intranet, teams can share documents, launch surveys, or automatically generate AI-based meeting minutes (using a freely chosen LLM), all within one single application. “We are rethinking collaboration from end-to-end,” explains Johannes Nowak, Head of Business Development International at innovaphone AG. “By moving from UC to UCC, we integrate AI-driven workflows and external channels such as WhatsApp directly into day-to-day business processes – without compromising European data sovereignty.”

The fact that the myApps UCC platform is entirely developed and manufactured in Europe while supporting local on-premises deployment sets it apart as a rare combination in the market. At the same time, the company is setting a strong example for digital inclusion in line with European accessibility standards: All innovaphone phone apps are now fully accessible using screen reader support and keyboard navigation. Additional highlights include a significantly enhanced myApps conferencing solution, enabling virtual meetings of virtually any size and participant count. The time tracking app has been expanded to include full vacation management, and the remote maintenance app has undergone a technical facelift, making it even more user-friendly.

As both a software and hardware manufacturer, innovaphone is also advancing its hardware portfolio: With its new IP17x series, the company introduces robust intercom and IP telephones for demanding environments such as maritime and industrial applications, seamlessly integrated into the UCC platform. The new myApps phone IP270, featuring a 7-inch touchscreen, combines traditional telephony with the modern app-based environment of the UCC platform.

The transition from pure communication to comprehensive collaboration is also reflected in the updated licensing model: the previous UC license is being replaced by the new UCC license, which includes all applications required for a standard workspace.
