Each year, the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy presents this award to medium-sized companies that achieved an above-average increase in the number of employees and turnover in recent years. In doing so, the Ministry recognizes the economic and social importance of SMEs, as they continue to provide the majority of jobs and apprenticeships in Bavaria whilst their innovative power forms the backbone of Bavarian prosperity.

This applies to our staff numbers just as much as it does to our turnover," explains Patrick Paul, it is particularly important to me that we are talking about organic and healthy growth here. We don’t think in quarters, but in decades, and this strategy has helped us to survive the crises of the past."
