Rheinmetall is one of the world’s leading suppliers of armoured tracked and wheeled vehicles and, among other things, the original designer of the Keiler NG armoured breaching vehicle. Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa S.A. is a holding company founded by the Polish government that brings together Polish state-owned companies in the defence industry.

The MoU aims at the foundation of a Joint Venture in order to create a European Support Vehicles Centre, namely the production of Armoured Recovery Vehicles, Armoured Engineering Vehicles with Mine Breaching Capability as well as Armoured Vehicle-Launched Bridges. In view to current threat from the East, PGZ and Rheinmetall contribute to building an all-European defence potential by signing this MoU. It is another step towards making Europe’s defence more secure and stronger.
