HARTING’s success story in the Mexican state of Guanajuato began in 2016. At that time, 30 employees moved into the approximately 1,200-square-metre site in Silao. It soon became clear the choice of this location had been the right one. Leading car manufacturers and suppliers also opened their plants in Mexico, thereby accelerating growth. “This meant we had our finger on the pulse of this important market right from the start,” summarises Philip Harting, CEO of the HARTING Technology Group. “In the coming years, we will continue to meet the needs of our customers with purpose-built connectivity solutions. We are looking forward to additional growth opportunities in a wide range of sectors such as energy, mobility and infrastructure.”

With on-site engineering, production and service, the company consistently aligns itself with the requirements of regional markets. The approach offers customers direct access to the team designing and producing their tailor-made products in their time zone and supports the unique needs to Americas customers. At the same time, HARTING is using the site to strengthen industrial value creation in the Guanajuato region and create long-term prospects for employees, partners and customers.
