The SARS-CoV-2 IgG Seroconversion ELISA kit is a fast and reliable 96-well plate format colorimetric assay for the qualitative detection of SARS-CoV-2 specific antibodies of IgG isotype in serological assays. The Receptor Binding Domain (RBD) of SARS-CoV-2 spike protein is coated on a microtiter plate which is bound by SARS-CoV-2 specific antibodies. Colour development is achieved at 450 nm after binding of the secondary antibody. The assay itself can be performed in 70 minutes at an overall sensitivity of 97-100 % and specificity of 100 %.

SARS-CoV-2 Spike Protein RBD is a C-terminal His-tagged, 223 amino acid glycoprotein that corresponds to residues 319-541 of the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein S1 sequence. The recombinant protein is available in liquid form, buffered in PBS and ready to be used for wide-ranging research applications such as the capture of SARS-CoV-2 specific antibodies from biological fluids in COVID-19 serological assays.

Confirmed COVID-19 positive and negative Plasma and Serum samples used for a broad range of research applications such as assay result validation can be supplied with full details, including IgG antibody results.
